Avoid the new roadblock system

Its this new verification hoop facebook makes you jump through if it suspects you're not the account owner. I'm currently on a roadtrip here in the states and every day I'm getting asked to recognize people on my personal FB account and like dellzip said, I don't recognize half of the people on there due to them not being tagged correctly in photos, only having met them once while drunk or them just not being real life friends.
IMO this won't last long as I'm sure most people have the same problem and FB support will get overwhelmed with people who have got 1000 friends and have been locked out of their account for not knowing who 10 percent of them are.
Gotta hand it to them though, on paper its a clever system.

Yup, It's a nice attempt but it wont last long. How many people do you see with profile pictures of celebrities like justin bieber or cars like ferraris. This is the most ridiculous system ever.
I agree, on paper this must of seemed like a brilliant idea to stop us. However I bet the majority of people won't be able to recognize even half of their friends. Hope they don't use this system for long.

How often is this happening for everyone? I havent went off the wall with any adding or promoting and I have yet to see this shit. There shooting themselves in the foot hardcore with this. How the fuck are we supposed to identify anything if it pulls up pics of there dog,car,fat mom,beer can,etc?
It's going to affect most Facebook marketers, IMHO. The average joe with more than a few hundred network friends will be impacted too.
I think Facebook very recently put this into place, so it will take a few days before you see 'feedback' on BHW. I agree, it's godawful. It has completely fubar'd automation software like FFAP, because multithread features go out the door with inability to use proxies. I can't imagine any response other than a major backlash from Facebook advertisers and corporate clients. Facebook has completely whored itself out to advertisers and metrics moguls at the expense of its users. They freely violate their TOS while making the experience more restrictive daily for end users. Next!

I have stumbled across this ridiculous new roadblock in the last few days as well. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS! How do they expect you to verify generic photos that popup such as FarmVille photos, Mafia Wars photos...photos without a person even in it?
Not to mention the people you added a long time ago on your personal account who you honestly don't even remember.
I agree with most of you who are saying this probably will not last long. At least let's hope so.
However, if it does stick around, there will always be a workaround and this could be good for cutting out the newbies to Facebook Marketing.
I also wanted to mention for those of you who don't already know, not only do you have to get 5 out of the 7 photos correct, you can only make an attempt to recover your account every hour. So let's say you try to recover an account but you can't get at least 5 out of the 7 photos correct. Well, instead of loosing your account completely, you can logout, but then you must wait an hour before FB will allow you to make another attempt at recovering your account again.
This is total BS and I surely hope it doesn't stick around for long, but like I said, there will always be a workaround.

It's one of the most stupid things I have seen in my life!!! I think the birthdate identification was more than enough. They act like the FBI wtf.
