Long short story/

I use namesilo has my primary domain provider.
I wanted to renew 4 of my domain names, but for some reason, I couldn't. Their credit card paywall keeps denying all my payments.

I reach out to their support, because well that's not the first time, and I use the same cards to renew with another prodiver.

The person just told me to "f*ck off" lmao.

I insist on knowing the exact issue because I use the same cards to renew all my domains with them.

He locks the chat. LMAO

DO NOT USE THEM.

First, their price keeps increasing for no reason, and their support team is going downhill.

been using them for over a decade, and I've not had a single issue with them, technical or otherwise.

It's true that they keep increasing the prices, however, which is why I might look into other domain providers should I ever be bothered to get back into SEO.

This being said, I am not 100% convinced that you are so innocent and they just flipped you off. I did use their customer service a few times (last year more recently) and they've been very polite with me, despite of the fact that I'm not one of their biggest spenders (not that it should matter anyway in a normal society, but in a capitalist one it does)

So yeah, I'm inclined to believe you only 65-70%, the other 30-35% I think you are right and they might be going downhill :p ... But then, which big company is not going downhill these days? It seems like everyone has gone crazy and all they see in front of their eyes is money, money, and even more money. It's nuts...

Agree, their customer support is literally trash.
I had a problem with nameservers and the support didn't even know what a nameserver is.

I should have screenshot it.

I am moving all my domain names, and thanks to that, I figured out they are expensive.
 
I’ve used them for a very long time just to buy domains, but when I bought a hosting plan nothing work, I contacted the support and they never even responded so I guess you are right.
 
I have been using them for 4 years now. Never had a issue
 
Strange been with them for many years never faced anything like this.

In fact they are one of my top 3 preffered registrars.

They used to be my favs tbh.

Their support has been terrible for the past few months, and our last interaction was too much for me to handle.

I use Namecheap and I don't have any issues there, but I never needed their support anyways, so maybe it's horrible and I just don't know about it.

Anyway, I never had a case where I was right and polite and anyone told me to fuck off. The escalation must be slower than that. Never, not just with support agent, never in my entire life.

What will I earn by faking? considering the fact that I have $$$+ domains with them? and take the hassle of moving them to my 2nd provider?

I am always polite, especially with customer success, as I know how this job works.
