I know the 50 post portion is correct but I was a member over 2 years when I hit it and changed my avatar... (just a couple of months ago).

I'm also wondering about this.. someone else said to just contact the admins and let them know. I didn't know exactly what admin to contact though?

I think promoting spamming posts is not a good idea.
everyone wants to meet the quota so they post useless and pointless posts.
When i read a thread i don't want to read 100 posts with only 2 posts that are really saying anything

Did we ever get a definitive answer to this. I cant upload a custom avatar despite 51 high quality posts and over 2 years as a member

Maybe the reason is that you just recently got above 50 posts and it takes a bit to update
