Want to grow my automotive site by putting some cash back in, has anyone got some ideas such as a good place to advertise.

I sell auto parts for cars and bikes. - never done any paid advertising before and dont want to throw money away.

Do you sell those auto parts as an affiliate or buy your own products to sell to final consumers?

We are not affiliate ( well that site is not ) - sell own products 100% SEO up until now and looking to gear things up a little, but unsure which direction to go in.

I would suggest targeting the parts that are easiest to rank and work up from there.

Be very specific and leave your brand name off of the anchor text.

As you get traffic from the very easy KWs to rank, you will get some crossover traffic
onto the other pages on your site that the viewer would be interested in and possibly generate more revenue from each viewer.

Just reread your initial post... place some ads on craigslist/backpage/ebay classifieds/ebay.

As you have done all SEO, you may need to take advantage of other websites to help you. In this case, you cannot do it alone.

    1. Craigslist - you can list your auto parts on craigslist. Just choose the city you are interested in and make sure your listing has good images to attract prospective customers. This is free

    2. Amazon - You can list your products on amazon. Amazon has fees for this. So make sure your price alread covers all those charges.

    Thanks for this -

I thought craigslist did not like link dropping and I tried amazon a while ago to list something and they asked for ISBM number - which I dont have.

You can put your link on CL, you can even create an image ad and have that link to your site.

An ISBM number should only apply to books... maybe you just need to let them know you are not selling books.

You may want to even set up your own affiliate program. Its always a plus to have as many people as possible pushing your products as possible.
