Automatically tagging people made impossible?

Hi there,

I'm steadily growing my twitter account and very happy with the progress.
I'm using a mix of automated actions and doing a few thing manually every day.

The thing is, the websites that offer automated services for Twitter all say that automated tagging (@likethis) is not allowed according to twitter rules.

However, it's obviously still being done.

You guys have any experience with this? Maybe share some light on a good work around?
