Automated business for when I get out of the military

So I'm thinking of joining the air force or Marines and I'm looking to start an online business that could be automated to where it will have grown when I get out. Any ideas? I can learn alot of things just starting out and do alot of research but would love some suggestions or points in the right direction.

You're definitely looking for a long term project here. Considering that you are not in a hurry, I would recommend you learning about SEO and websites. You will learn about how to rank those. If you put consistent work in and let it grow patiently, you will see good results in a while. Of course just as long as Google doesn't shove their fist up your ass. You'll understand why I mentioned this.

Well, I bet your drill instructor will love it when you explain you're already planning your next venture after leaving the service.

Are you planning on joining up and working in a specific trade such as IT or communications?

Yes I'm planning on doing something in computer science or graphic design something like that but I could prob make more just starting a business here huh haha
