Hello

I open a ticket about 'Create new rule' function in beta version
For some reason AFM is not recognizing the description field of some classified ad sites, the common field they have is 'rich text editor', AFM only recognize html elements, I could match with 1 site in particular, looking for html elements to match for the other sites, but could you help me to work with any field with rich text editor.
Obviously fill out manually work fine

Thanks in advance

Rich Text Editors are different from ordinary form elements and are treated in a different way. The wizard will not work for Rich Text Editors.

Still it is not hard to make Rich Text Editors work just fine. Please see the video below.

I went ahead and purchased and am looking forward to getting stuck in :). I installed both versions you have and the beta one in firefox portable. I think I'm going to use the non beta and go though all the tutorials you have to get used to it.

In the beta version are you able to create your own values in the profile section of AFM so that in step 2/2 in the rule wizard you can select that desired value to be used with your rules instead of the defaults that are included in General info, Web.2.0/Articles etc.

Not yet, but we will add a tab only with custom user fields that you can use for anything you want.

That's good to hear. I want to do some submissions eventually on citation websites such as the likes of Yellow Pages and yelp and a field that comes to mind would be business opening hours which wouldn't need to be spun but being able to input that would be a great help. Do you have any idea of the schedule time for implementing this?

Many thanks.

It will most likely be ready within the next few weeks. But you can use any other field in the mean time.

Hi,

This looks like a very interesting tool which I would be very interested in buying. Just a quick question though.

My main concern is the life of web 2.0 property accounts. When I have tried creating with tools they just don't stick which is why I use manually made web 2.0s. So my question is how long will the accounts stick? What are certain techniques that I can use with AutoFillmagic that can make the account stay longer?

Cheers

When AM clicks confirmation links in emails, does it use the proxy associated with the profile?

Ah, I see. So this only happens when markers for values are used. Will change it.

Has this been changed in the beta yet? I want to update to the beta but want to make sure this is changed.

Thanks.

When will the formal 2.0 be released?

I expect to release version 2.0 on September 1.

I know that the release have been pushed several times, but that is only because the ambitions have gone up. So many of the new features interact so well that it only makes sense to release them all in one package.

The Beta version is already publicly available and it is working very well with very few bugs reported, so for anyone who is impatient I suggest to grab the beta version.

If you do get the beta, then please provide feedback and bug reports. It the best way to drive the development forward.

Tomorrow we release an updated beta version with the following features:

  • Import of existing accounts to a profile (great if you have created accounts by hand or with another tool)
  • New button in the toolbar: Log out of all sites except Autofill Magic. (Nice when you want to make sure that you are logged out of all sites before switching to another project)
  • New option to detect Rich Text Editors and login forms for the trainer plugin. Make it very easy to add rules for Rich Text Editors with the wizard.
  • New option to set a project folder for each profile. If you do you can chose all available projects/articles from a drop down menu in the tool bar. Makes it super fast to change the article/video/social bookmark info.

The Beta version is very mature and I suggest new user jump right to it.

Does this clear all traces including cookies and cache for all sites?
If that's the case it's fantastic.
