What do you guys think? You think it's a good idea to basically AutoBlog your Web 2.0 properties so it has a lot more content related to the niche? Than when you promote your website with anchor text links (tier 1 and tier 2), it will be even better if there is constant content updates on the Web 2.0 property?
Good idea of course but administratively it gets difficult. I tend to set up my web 2.0s with as much content as they'll take (=> as many backlinks as I can create from those sites) and then spread out the backlinking to the web 2.0s at a steady rate (ie. not "blasting"). There's also a point of diminishing returns in putting too much effort into one web 2.0 - often you're better off making more web 2.0s instead, so it appears that your money site is getting more links from more independent "sites" (subdomains, subdirectory sites etc).
Subdomains are treated like different websites by google so 10 blogs on blogger are 10 different websites! So that goes really well. Infact we made our whole platform keeping that in mind. What we normally recommend is making a blog network and doing linkings randomly and also if possible adding 200-300 backlinks per blog per month. That ways slowly the whole blog network is going to get very high link juice. you can use the blog network for linking to your website and also banner ads/lead genration. So its completely your call. From our experienced we have learnt an autoblog on web 2.0 properties does a lot better than normal autoblogs since there is no problem in getting in indexed etc. Just keep the number of posts per day below 10 and the content unique!
