autoblogging on blogger...suggestions pls

good day members

say i was to set an autoblog on blogger...what do you think is a better option..

A] post full articles directly form some article directory like ezinearticles
or
B] get articles from say a german directory, translate to english and then post on my blog

both options are completely automated

now for option A, i'm worried about the duplicate content thing
as for option B, the translated article is not completely readable..many grammatical errors here and there...

so please give me your suggestions...which path should i take..

I'd try both. :) See for yourself.

What a lot of people do, however, is re-write the articles. They'll use 2 ways:

1) Manually re-write the articles by rephrasing, or
2) Have a program swap out synonyms and make other re-write tweaks.

I would definitely go for option in order to avoid the duplicated content penalty.

Nope but you may be penalized on the search engines for duplicated content.
 
I'd go for the second option.

It doesn't cost much time to edit the translated article and you don't have to worry about the duplicate penalty.

sure thing mark1993....let me get there first ;)

here is what i have been able to acheive so far

1)post full articles from ezine/goarticles
2)randomise number of posts, max 5 a day
3) posting is done via email feature of blogger, so use random mail id for gmail smtp
4) translations using google translate (still working on babblefish)

i'm working on youtube videos

would be glad to get members suggestions and advice....

How do you use google translate and posting via email ?
 
well i had tried that earlier but the articles aren't full and also there is an un-subscribe button below the posts
a visitor to the blog may click that link and that will be the end of auto updates for you
 
The translating technique sucks in my experience, its too much effort to rewrite, I just read the post, then write it in my own words. Theres no auto way to do it unless you outsource it.
 
either method would work just as well, choose whichever one is easier. The only thing you would have to worry about with method 1 is ezine, or the authors of the articles you're posting, to find them and report you either to adsense, your host, or blogger. This may cause some trouble, unless you are available to remove the posts upon request or shut down the blog that gets the complaint(s).

Other than that, there is no such thing as a "duplicate content penalty", this is a myth... Google will NOT de-index you because of duplicate content.. They WILL de-index you if your blog seems unnatural to them, ie. 100's of posts/pings/backlinks per day.

So try to make your blog seem natural, but don't worry about duplicate content.

i dont want to start a new thread for no reason
 
hey nikhil,
better way would be to use german articles and then translating them.
