Autoblog in HG

    Hello,

    Looking for expert autoblog answer....For hostgator babyplan what is the maximum autoblog you can setup??

    There's no definite answer, as it all depends on the visits and what plugins will you use...for the beginning, the only visitors to your blogs might be indexing robots, but later on if you do some promotion then your host might get pissed, especially that you're on shared hosting...I'd say 15-20, with WP-Supercache on every one of them and too many plugins and max 3-5 posts a day...at least that's what I have on Hostnine Shared, works perfectly...

    It depends on the bandwidth you're going to use.
    But don't install 100+ blogs in short time.. They will delete all the installations!

    They'll rather ban your whole hosting account and won't even let you get a backup...had that situation with some shitty host ISP...important thing is is to add blogs gradually, not all at once...

    But then again, I heard some people have like 60 autoblogs on Dreamhost single acc, and still works good - I guess it's better to watch server usage stats in Cpanel, if you have access to them.

    You have to watch out with hostgator they tend to pull the plug on a lot of rss and blog tools like rss2blog.
