    Hey there!

I'm looking for an option to always redirect someone to my affiliate site whenever he or she enters the normal URL.

    e.g.:

I have a amazon Affiliate Program running and some friends of mine want to buy through me every time they visit amazon. I thought about changing their host files but since I don't have a dedicated IP this is not possible.

In short: every Time they visit amazon they should be automatically redirected to mycoolreflink.something ;)

Do you have any ideas? If something practicable comes up I will write a small Python script ;)

If you don't want to setup a (cheap .info) domain to redirect to your affiliate link, you can set up a tinyurl with a specified extension eg. tinyurl com/galator, which you could then give to your friends.

you could create an amazon link for them in their browser toolbar

you could change their homepage to your affiliate link or a page where a bunch of your affiliate links are in iframes so your cookie gets dropped each time they boot up the browser.

if they are IE users (or if amazon uses flash cookies) you could make a simple program that runs invisible and periodically visits your affiliate link with a hidden embedded browser control to drop your cookie.

you could run a proxy server that filters all amazon links and set the proxy in their browser.

They still have to visit that url and not amazon

Hmm, yeah that could be possible. But again they would forget that they have my bookmark after some time.

My link is already shortened with bitly, so i have a domain

Nice Idea! Most of them have google as homepage so I just could build a own google search page with iframes. I will consider this!
