Is there an auto updating blog program out there that will allow feeds to be categorized? I would like each day's or week's feed to be a new post thus adding content over a long period of time.

I would also like the capability of adding my own posts from time to time as well.

I have a situation that would need different feeds publishing to as many as 20 different categories.

    Thanks in advance.

Finaly found it . It`s called WP-O-Matic . I have used it and I know that you can add a feed per category so it`s what you are looking for .

I have to say that I used wp-o-matic and has great features and it`s simple to use , you can even change the post layout of the feeds , you can remove or add an link back to the original source and you can categorize the feeds and add unlimited feeds to it . I think it uses wp-cron and you can add on how many hours the feed should update . It`s a great plugin .

Anyone know of any software that will auto post my own articles? Cause I'm going to Italy in a few weeks and NEED to be constantly updating my content.

I've got all the content and am not interested in scraping feeds. Just a software that will drip content to my blog everyday without my supervision.

    Thanks

I believe there's a built-in function in WP which is built exactly for your need, it's called "post time stamp" right below "post status" menu (in writing/editing page). All you need to do is post all your content and set the time stamp according to your schedule, you can even set it up to post on certain hour.

    Hope it helps.

if you know a popular web scripting language, modifying an rss aggregator to get it to do what you want is pretty easy. I did it once to create a podcast directory that automatically updates itself.

Wp-O-Matic works great... I use it with BlogSlammer! feeds to post unique rss content (rss content that is spun).
