auto bolding tool....who knows of one??

    i need a tool that will go through a word document and automatically bold certain words. Does anyone know of a software that can do this for me?

    Why not open it in microshit word, hit ctrl + f, click on the tab for replace and type in the word. At the bottom hit the "More >>" button and at the bottom it will say "replace" and then it will say format and special. Click format and click Font. Make the font to bold and then hit replace all. Simple, easy, and free. ;)

    What Cyber said, only if doing it for html, use find "yourword" replace "<b>yourword</b>"

    I am assuming he wants to feed in a large list of words instead of going 1by1, that would be slow

    Create a macro to import words from a text file and replace.

    you are correct i have many many words and about 200 articles would take a lot of time for me to go 1 by 1
