Hi guys,

I am member of BHW for almost 4 years and mostly I have been reading your stories, learning etc So you can call me a lurker.

I am a marketer and professor and mostly I work with large media (media buying), revenue optimization for online magazines/portals and bid managemnet, PPC (Adwords and Facebook ads) and also front end development.

After reading about it a lot I decided to start a second income with Authority and Niche websites here on BHW.

Since I am a newbie in this field I would love you guys who are in the same business to give me few hints.

So here is where I am at the moment:

1) I am waiting for 2 Authority sites that I ordered on BHW to be finished
2) In the meantime, I want to make some kind of action plan for them in order to rank them faster and turn them into passive streams of income.

QUESTION (Regarding Ranking of the Authority site)
- What is the best way to kickstart my authority site in order to get enough traffic to put Adsense on it. (besides the obvious - Adwords and FB ads)
- Are there any BHW SEO PACKAGES (social signals and backlinking) services you can recommend to me? I like the Lady Gaga SEO, I think it could help the site to rank faster but I am still not sure if I should start with that.
- What do you usually do in the beginning? What is the process and what sellers here do you trust here to have Good services that could do the trick?

QUESTION (Regarding writing new content)
- So of course site will have to be filled with new content always. Since it is an authority and not a reviews site. How many articles do you usually produce a month ? And do you outsource that services from BHW as well?

I would like to kickstart this 2 pages before proceeding to amazon affiliate sites and so on.

That is it from me for now. Hope you can give me some action steps on how to proceed once I got site delivered.

Feels good to finally be active part of the community here.

Regards,
Marin

If it is a true authority site, with quality content people actually want to read, then the best way is to go where your audience is and link to it.

Go to forums, reddit, Yahoo Answers, etc. Find people asking questions and use your site as the source of those answers.

I usually do 1-2 articles per week. These are quality articles that are usually 1000 to 2000 words. I never outsource those, because the quality is crap if I do.

Great feedback.

I am usually doing it that way: going to Facebook Groups, Google+ Communities, Quora and forums, so mostly the stuff you mentioned.

Actually that + some remarketing or FB ads is what I would usually do. And of course social media management

But I saw alot of people here actualy do off site SEO with backlinking packages. And I never had experience with that kind of SEO. What is your opinion on that

Regarding articles, 1-2 is ok? Glad to hear it :) Also about your feedback about outsourcing. I think there are quality writers here as well but you just have to fillter through alot of people which is time consuming :) hence my question

PS tnx a bunch!

I don't think it's necessary with authority sites. People buy backlinking packages for low quality sites because it's the only way to get backlinks to those types of site.

An authority site will get backlinks on it's own. You just have to get people interested in the content to the site and they will share it naturally, creating real backlinks.

Cool so it should be like good old content marketing / inbound strategy? Good to know that :)

PS I was also intenrested in amazon affiliate niche sites, I guess those would need backlinking packages
