I am creating a massive authority site, and it is health based. On a selected part of the website, I am building pages about certain illnesses and for each one I have roughly 20 keywords.

I've seen many authority sites use one page for each but they are insanely larger than my projections. Mine is a lot more specific (still going to be 200+ pages). I am trying to decide between the following.

Grouping each with all details into one page:

    Description
    Symptoms
    Treatment
    Etc

Or, put each different part onto a different page and group them into a category like so:

    Page 1: Description
    Page 2: Symptoms
    Page 3: Treatment
    Page 4: Etc ....

What do you think? Would it be smart to create a massive page for them containing 1500 to 4000+ words or break them into separate pages? Keep in mind I will be targeting around 20 keywords for each illness/section.

I'd go with separate pages. In my experience 2k+ words is just excessive. If you split them into pages you can be more specific with the optimisation and utilise a different title tag and H1 (insomnia symptoms, insomnia treatment etc).

    All seperate pages

    website--soreback-prevention
    website-soreback-treatment etc

If theres enough content to elaborate on then run it to 2-3 seperate indexable pages each
    website-soreback-treatment /p1
    website-soreback-treatment /p2 etc

Of course all these pages linking internally
