I was inspired by BTB to start an authority site, however instead of tackling the bull head on into whitehat niches with decent competition I decided to go for an authority site in BH Niches (gaming hacks, game downloads and such) The site is now 1 month and 8 days old it has 41 posts and 18k Words (400+ words per post average which is pretty good for the type of niche I'm targetting and 90% of the people in these niches use duplicate content / churn and burn). It's getting 150-250 UV's/day but 100-150 are from youtube, I'm getting 300-450 impressions on SERPs everyday according to webmasters but only 20-35 clicks daily...

One of the few difficulties I've faced is actually getting good backlinks to it, I want to get some nice authority in the homepage and categories so the link juice flows towards the posts just like in real authority sites where people post an article and 2 minutes later it's already indexed and ranking.

I can't invest much yet but I'll do my best to save some money to invest.

What I have on my toolbox:
    GSA SER
    GSA Indexer
    Wicked article creator
    Captcha Sniper
    Scrapebox
    Time and patience

How would you recommend me to go from now on in terms of backlinking to start ranking the posts?

PS: I don't want 30+ links daily, no churn and burn just decent-good quality links, I want it to be a long term project

Why don't you follow BTB strategy? I have not visited his thread for a while but, as I remember, he used web 2.0 backlinks and it gave him good results.

I did but he told me not to follow his strategy because he also did other things and he said his backlinking strategy was quite weak because he didn't really focus on backlinks

This forum has tons of threads about how to build links and what type of links to build. What exactly do you want people to tell you?

There is no exact route, but building web 2.0 links is a good idea. Make sure they're all high quality too, with 5-10 500+ word articles on each. Only one to two backlinks per each... tackle specific blackhat subjects in each web 2.0 and see what happens. Get tumblr followers, yeah, definitely build up some tumblr blogs. Free Wp blogs, Blogspots, etc.

Combine that with a solid social marketing strategy and you're good!
