This is my 101th post and I want to contribute to this Great community

    1.
    Go to expireddomains.net

    2.
Click on DP column and line the domains according to their backlinks.

    Important-The best practise

A good domain usually has a

    - ABY info- a birth year (Archive.org)
    - Alexa info

Even better if you are lucky:

    - Pages in G index
    - dropped in last 24h or a few days

    3. Choose a domain and add it to MajesticSEO

    3.jpg

    4. Look at "Citation Flow" and "Trust Flow" - I go for at least 10 for both.

    5. Check all addresses www/http/http://www.

    majestic adreses 4.jpg

    6. Check Anchor text! Why? If you see porn or buy product spam links drop it it is no good.

    Majestic anchor text 5.jpg

    7. Check Ref Domains. Again to avoid links from bad websites

    8. Check Pages. Why? If there is no snapshot in Archive.org here you can check a least the title of the pages.

    majestic pages 6.jpg

    9. Load the url in "SEO SpyGlass" - There is a column "Links Back" - This are live backlinks at the moment.

    10. Go to Namecheap.com and grab your High Authority domain for $10 or less.

Let's say 25 domains found with this way ranked one of my websites to #1 in large niche. A cheap way to start own private network.

+Rep added. Tried and tested this method of making your own blog network. You may even get some free content with the domains at archive.org

    Thanks for the guide bro.
    It's very very interesting!
I have a few question tough... What are the benefits of using an expired domain?Ok you have backlinks and so on but the backlinks will have a specific anchor keyword. Should we target the same keyword as the previous owner?
I am very intrigued by this and I would like to learn more.
    Thanks again!

You'll hardly find PR2+ domain with this method except if you're really lucky...

I am just looking at some expired domains RIGHT NOW with PR5 even PR6. Why do you think you can find PR2+?

hate to be the bearer of bad news but if you buy those PR5 and PR6 wait about 2-3 weeks and get ready for the PR0 to hit (I bet dollars to donuts that orginal PR5 showing in the PR tool came from a domain it was redirecting too before it got dropped.)

PS. Unless you recreate the domain exactly get ready for a delayed PR hit. Meaning the PR will drop later on. So it will show a PR2 for a while but then you will wake up one morning and you will see a PR0. This is a recent phenomenon (i.e. last 6 weeks or so). So a good share by OP but a little late, Google is already on this.

I imagine that to happen. But these expired domains, can they bring any traffic just on their own? no content whatsoever?

Their backlink profile is usually (99.9%) crap if they're not taken yet.

Good thread, rep given. This is smart way to find good, old thematic domains. You can use this domains for own network, for back links (301 redirect), etc.

This is an ok technique, but without twists all of the good domains are taken very quickly because everyone knows about expireddomains.net by now. For true high-authority domains that aren't registered one needs to get a little creative!

Not true. A lot of gems are out there. The problem is its extremely time consuming to find a gold nugget.
