Here's my idea. Just seeing how many of you guys would be interested.

Very good friend and actually my old high school teacher. He is an attorney now that specializes in tax, wills, probate, real estate, corporate, e-commerce law.

I was looking to start a service, people can pay $50-100 month and get any legal advice . For ex you are looking to start a new venture need all the legal advice to starting it.

    Example.
My problem. NHTSA (nationa highway traffic safety admin) started a investigation on the products I was selling. (not gona get into detail) I was going to fight it. But i told him and he said why its not a good idea. Just saved me a ton of money by listening to him.

Just like that Im sure tons of people on this forum going thru the same stuff. Think this is a good idea? If so just to get an idea how many people would be interested in a service like this?

yeah. to go to an attorney its expensive as hell. And you have to go to their office and talk to them @ their own time. This would be like mon-fri 8am-6pm you can just chat with him for any legal questions.

You should talk with the attorney about it first. There are all sorts of strange bar restrictions with respect to attorney referrals and legal advice across state borders.

There is service called legalmatch. Maybe you should start similar service targeting IM and ecommerce customers.

If I ever want legal advice, in the US at least, I call my state's lawyer referral service or the state bar. You have to take the attorney they refer you to but you get a flat rate $35 consultation which is usually like an hour long and you can get everything squared away. In Oregon it was limited to like 2 referrals per year but I used it in Alaska before and they never made mention of limits there.

Its going to be strictly online. Yeah i've looked into the referral thing, Im just going to base this out of the USA so he doesn't get in trouble with the bar.
