I really need some help with my EVO. So if you don't have an HTC EVO 4G or don't know anything about the phone, please hit the back button. Thanks!
Today while trying to access the Google Keyw0rd T00l in the stock EVO browser for the first time, I was left with a terrible taste in my mouth - it kept freezing up the phone and ultimately crashing the browser.
The browser had one hell of a time loading it, in fact it would freeze the phone 4 out of 5 times, where none of the touch buttons or the physical button on the top would respond.
And, when it did load the page (after waiting 1-2 minutes, frozen), it would crash the browser after I searched for a keyword. I forget the error but it was something along the lines of "htc.something.somewhere.process could not load". The error would appear on the home-screen after the browser crashed.
I tried it again on the HD Dolphin browser and had the same fate.
Whats really weird is that the Google keyw0rd t00l works flawlessly on the iPhone 4, but not the EVO, an Android phone. I mean a Google webpage should work on a Google OS, should it not?
Are you guys able to use keyw0rd t00l properly on your EVO's or no?
Please let me know. I'm really concerned about this and would love to find a fix.
