I would be interested in promoting this program, but it has a leak-- the name/ email signup would allow you to capture user info and put them in your sales funnel for later without actually getting me credit for it. Can you remove this from the page? Have other affiliates not asked you this before?

I understand where you're coming from, and I used to not have the optin form.

I have heard many affiliates say the same thing as you but honestly my conversions are about 40% higher with the optin, because about 40% of my sales come from the follow up email the reader will receive the next day if they do not buy the first time.

My profits and the profits of my affiliates are higher with the optin option.

There is a PHP script I have that I can use to allow you to choose any page to promote, and then I could have a page without an optin.

I will do that soon, I haven't yet but I will install the script tonight.

    Thanks for the feedback NYC!

No problem-- I'm always on the lookout for a good program to promote, and honestly, that one would go perfectly in a "Work from Home Moms" niche site I have already up and running.

Totally understand that the opt-in box makes your conversions go up-- is there maybe a way to code the opt-in with the Clickbank code so you could give retroactive credit for the referral? Seems like it would be only fair...

So long as the affiliate is still getting credit for the day-later sale, I might be game. You send recip traffic?

    Hey NYC,

You will get credit if the user you sent to the page buys from the next day email because of the cookie that goes into their computer.

No matter how they buy, if they buy within 90 days the sale is yours, unless another affiliate gets ahold of them.

There is also a coding thing I used to have that would allow the optin form to automatically email the user with your actual hoplink, I would have to find it, but either way you're pretty safe with any sales that come from anybody you referred. :)

    Hey OTrap,

I am always down to send reciprocate traffic. I enjoy having good partners in which we can help each other out.

I always appreciate all traffic that any affiliates send to me.

    Let me know.

    Thanks guys!

The simpliest way to check if the vendor is not stealing commission from you is opt in to their list and check the follow up emails. If the vendor is honest then these opt ins can infact help you to earn more as long as the cookies last.

BTY Nice looking salespage. Looks like a great program. Now I am off to do some research on your niche.

Yeah, using opt in I think its better, because many people don't buy directly at the first impression :)
