Attacks in Mumbai

I recommend the movie, "The Children of Men". The movie depicts the future as a planet in self destruct mode. When I see things like what happened yesterday I'm reminded of the movie only it's starting to seem more like the nightly news.

But what is happening in Mumbai is so sad. I think the world is going in the wrong direction. We hear all the time how this is 21.st century how civilized we are but if you look it with a unbiased eyes you will see that more people has died in last few years from multiple reasons than in second world war.
I know that a lot of people are ignorant about stuff like this and don't care because it's not their backyard but I think we should all care.
Western world is facing recession now but in Africa and other so called "Third World Countries" the recession is permanent state.
One thing that gives me hope makes me think pink are nice and friendly people at this forum and how they are helping others.

To see the aftermath of this atrocity in places that i've sat and drank tea at really bought home the reality of this attack. My thoughts go out to anyone caught up in it.

I cant believe that its happening right here in my city. Almost feels unreal that this could happen so brazenly in broad daylight and these guys are armed to the teeth and holed up in the iconic landmarks of Mumbai.
I hope they are caught alive and then tried. I hope that this ends soon. I think we have seen enough of terrorism and the responsible people should be punished very severely.
Pray for all the hostages held inside and wish them safe return to their families.

its another sad day not only for us indians but also for the rest of the world.... i just fail to understand what these terrorists achieve by killing innocent people.
be it the the 9/11 attacks, the attacks in london or incidents like these, its normal civilians whose lives are at stake.
these terrorists are just cowards targeting innocent ppl and creating a fiasco...they just dont seem to have the guts to face the police or the army face to face...

Indians are intelligent but cowards.
