At what point do you let your autoblog go auto-pilot and move on?

Just curious as to what point you guys move on after setting up an autoblog. Is it after achieving a certain dollar amount, a certain UV per day, or something else.

I've just recently gotten my first auto-blog to start generating some income (only at about $1.70 for the month of August), but not really sure what else I can do at this point. I am ranked second in google for my keyword. I am pretty unhappy with the way it looks, so I think any more work I do on the site will be strictly to optimize the site to look better and to generate more clicks. Promotion seems like it would not help too much, seeing as how I am ranked second and the site ranking first is about.com.

Anyway, just wanted to see how you guys know when to move on, and what you think about what to do with my first autoblog.

I would maybe try different template but with 1.70 a month just let it go.. it pays the domain name but thats about it.

For me autoblogg is something i set up forget . I dont do much more really with it just wait and have patiance and do little promotion for it and hopefully it will go up in rankings.
