So, here is my idea for a great Associated Content method. I see no reason why it would not work.

You start an Essay/Writing Contest. In the rules clearly state all submissions are your property. Give the winner either a cash prize or a playstation , ipod, or something like that. You can pick the topic of the essay contest, (make it specific to where you market it) or just let them choose.

Also put in the rules that a winner will be declared after 200 submissions, or however many articles you want to submit to AC.

This contest can be promoted offline, in newspaper ads, on college campuses, literally anywhere!

So in the end you have 200 articles to submit to AC, you have cash for each one of those, your only expenses are promoting to get essay submissions and the winners prize.

Good luck with this, post results if you give it a shot.

and the time taken to read all 200 articles and choose a winner loool + the fact that some wont get any cash at all.....

nice idea but its very time consuming

You dont have to read shit really, just get a general idea of it and copy/paste :)

i suppose you could just keep a record of the prices you got for each article.... then the person with the highest amount wins :P

The idea is very nice, but it would only work in the USA or UK. If I lived in one of those countries, that is something I would try :)

I live in the USA and have an AC account I'm not using. If anyone does wanna share the earnings from submitting content of any kind let me know.

This is a great idea. Just pick a random winner and then publish a few articles a day. As long as you dont submit them all at once. And if you want to go really black hat make up a fake winner so you keep all the profit.

Yep, you could just submit them as they are submitted to the contest, or slower if needed.

gotta love having a mailing list of 1200 undergrads who need money and have alot of essays lying around :p

i'll send an email out 2morro and see how many i get back!

Please Thank me if you get rich :)

I thanked you and I didn't even get rich yet LOL
good job, way to think out of the box

That is a pretty good idea...makes me remember...there was/is a company who runs a poetry contest who's winners are published in their upcoming poetry book. Turns out everyone who submits, wins, is told they won and asked to purchase the book for around $50...and nobody will say no to buying a book they're being published in....easy money.

That is similiar to what they do for high school kids. Some "honors national yearbook" or some crap you can apply and then buy a copy of when its out.

BUT.. wouldn't you rather post them on your niche website and get it in Google and make A LOT more money from your websites! Think about it, these 200 articles would be better for your website than for Associated Content.

Yes, like above poster says. All that might not be worth giving to them when you could use it for yourself. Neat idea, though.

Careful with this if they are university addresses. It might get marked as spam or even worse they could report you if they find out its fake.

great share...I have some ideas in my mind already..I'll try it first and I'll post the result here

Or you could bust em into categories and throw them into a template. Say 10 templates with 20 articles on them and sell them as upstart content site or article sites. OR PLR sites and sell more.

There's a lot you can do with 200+ original articles/essays.

Pretty cool idea Biz, I likes! Maybe you could make one of those banners/box ads too like they have for surveys - "WIN AN IPOD" blah blah blah.. and throw traffic at it like it's a CPA. Probably get way more than 200.

Thanks!
