In already have a Youtube Channel that is working really well but yet to reach monetisation. The journey thread of that is - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/my-first-youtube-journey-white-hat.1256231/page-2#post-13536767

I was considering to open one more ASMR youtube channel to supplement my current channel. So was researching a earning potential for the sam.

So I checked the earning of a small ASMR channel with 9K subs and millions of views: Below is the stats:

Then I compared it to my channel:

The daily earning potential for my channel (100 subs) is showing almost equal to her's (9000 subs) ! What is happening here? ASMR is not worth it?

Gwengwiz gets 100k+ views a vid

Said she made more on OF in a week than her youtube

You aren't paid based on how many subscribers you have; you're paid for the views. If your getting the same amount of views as a larger channel then all other factors considered you'd earn the same as them.

A 9K sub asmr channel not getting many views has nothing to do with the niche, it's just the channel not performing well for channel related reasons.

ASMR niche is fine, lots of potential for making money :)

Also, socialblade estimates can be very inaccurate so don't worry about those too much.

Ya but if you see views. she has so much views but low earning. Anyway one thing I noticed is non of the ASMR videos run bumper ads and true view ads. Try clicking on any ASMR videos and check. They only run banner ads. That may also be the reason. I know Youtube demonetised many ASMR videos in a past update.
