[ASK] Techie question about setting up VMplayer

    I just downloaded vmplayer and I want to install it an create a guest vista os.

    I am running vista on my laptop and the os in on the laptop. It did not come with a cd.

    How do I go about doing this?

    As far as I know you need a distribution source such as a CD or ISO image to install on VMware. You're creative would have to be directed in that direction.

    is there a way to make an iso image from my HD?

    No that won't work either. Does it have to be a Vista OS?
