OK I have some stuff that I would like to upload here. I have a Rapidshare premium account. However, I see allot of request for MediaFire merrors and links.

After looking into MediaFire's pro account I see that unlike Rapidshare I can upload files over 200MB (up to 10GB). This would save me a ton of time in splitting files. They are also overall cheaper then Rapidshre. Though if I do get a pro MediaFire account I would most likely keep my Rapidshare account anyway.

    So I have 2 questions.

    1) Do you prefer to download from Rapidshare or MediaFire?

    2) Those of you with a MediaFire Pro account is the 100,000MB download bandwidth enough on average or would I have to go with the 250,000MB account?

    Thanks,
    SL

Mediafire is better in the sense that no waiting time and same upload size as rapidshare.

Its downfall is that it has an illegal material filter, thus our copyrighted material is removed if detected.

    Rapidshare only removes phishing material.

    so I vote Mediafire

Rapidshare for me. I am biased as I have been with them for years now and have never had it crap out on me. I think I remember maybe 3 days in years and years that I was unable to download something and that lasted maybe a couple hours.

I like how rapidshare is so easy to integrate with my download manager and I don't need to paste the links anywhere. I just highlight then copy and instantly it starts downloading, don't get any easier than that.

I get the feeling everyone who says megaupload or whatever is easier only because they are the free users and not premium.

I just get annoyed at most other download sites to be honest as they never seem to be as streamlined as RS.

Also the 200Mb limit is not so much of a limit as you would think. Occassionally a file will be corrupted, I dunno my wifi just does that sometimes, and I will need to redownload a part of it. Not a problem with 100Mb or 200Mb parts but a 2Gb+ file is a completely different story. The longer it takes to download a file the higher the chance it will be corrupted (though I know its fairly slim chance its still a chance and when it happens its fricken annoying).

    There's my $5 and 2c
