What would be the best way to do blog commenting without getting caught with akismet.

My comments are 100% whitehat - i mean they add value to the post and also gives a bit of intrigue to author. They are also really long usually 200+ words.

However with one new domain i got caught without even publishing one successful comment.

What i have learned so far (in worst case scenario):
    1) If one IP or email or name or url is blacklisted - then everything get blacklisted ..
    2) So if you comment with one ip with blacklisted domain then ip you used as well as email and name becomes blacklisted.
    3) After that if you comment using email that us blacklisted on 2) using another IP mail and name - then they all get blacklisted.
    4) If name=keyword it get blacklisted - if name= normal name it still can get blacklisted even before commenting if it is already used blacklisted.

So akismet isn't anti-spam plugin but more like anti-comment plugin.

What would be the best way (step by step) to be able to comment using normal name high-value comment without getting caught.

Ive pretty much giving up trying to find a way aound akismet. I was in your same shoes, I was commenting on wordpress blogs, actually reading the article, making a useful comment, using my real name/e-maill and website and I would still get banned. After getting like 5 sites banned by it I pretty much gave up.

Maybe you find some useful info here:

    Code:
    hxxp://azeemkhan.info/2008/how-to-get-off-of-akismet-blacklist/
    Code:
    hxxp://thirdworldgeek.com/banned-by-akismet/
My prive Ip was blocked by akismet
I wrote to them with the instruction above
After 2 days they take out my IP from blacklist(actually I am on barracuda blacklist with is allow you to comment)

To see if u are on blacklist you can use:
    Code:
    hxxp://w3.mxtoolbox.com/
    /write blacklist:your-ip/

    I hope its helpful

Is there a solution to having your site blacklisted by akismet?

how many comments do you have to do prior getting blacklisted?

Or spamming the hell out of word press gets you to get banned? is it 1000 comments or 20000 comments at one time ban you?

It is more likely 15 per hour. Yet they ban by IP also it may be even less in case you use banned IP.

Also you got banned if 1 or more blogs mark your comments as spam. Also there are poople says that only 20% of blogs have akismet anabled. It may be true but 99% high pr blogs have akismet anabled.

I guess there is hardly any way to avoid akismet unless you comment on list of blogs that aren't heavy moderated.

Another thing to consider is that your niche related blogs are going to mark your comment as spam - because they hate competition or they doesn't like promotion. So contrary to popular belief it is bad to post comments on too relevant blogs.
