I have talked about the apps I use in this thread and the other Pinterest threads I started. Take a look at those and you should find the info you are looking for.

Followers don't mean shit. when you say top page what page are you referring to? do you mean their pins or do you mean on the people page they show up at the top?

I'll be honest I didn't even know about the 200k thing, must have never read that part. I dont have any accounts that have reached that yet so it's not something I am worried about or trying to think how to avoid.

Maybe they are just new accounts. Lots of sites give a lot of weight to new accounts or listings. Maybe the algorithm includes a certain number of each on the first page. x many that are big, x many that are medium size and x many that are brand new. That might be an explanation for it. Or maybe a pin or something the accounts did got a lot of interactions so based on the limited actions they have done the average interactions on their account is really high and thus they rank higher. These are all assumptions.

So i started this pinterest stuff nearly a fortnight ago, or rather that's when the first pins went live. the traffic has been consistently and steadily rising and yesterday i hit 274 new users on my site, the problem is i'm not able to monetize it properly. Sales=0, what i'm i doing wrong, the site is up and running and looks great so if you wouldn't mind helping me milking this cash cow, PM me. Thanks for the AMA thread, learned a lot.

If i get a tailwind account and the pinterest account i registered with gets banned, can i use another pinterest account for tailwind? Also i am considering getting tailwind monthly plan. How many pins can i pin a month with that? How many pins a day is safe to pin with tailwind without getting a ban from pinterest? Thank you

Have you tried followliker or social multiplier 2? I have heard alot of good stuff about social multiplier 2 from individuals but I can't find much about it here on bhw.

Yes they are good. The OP mentioned it on another of his thread called Ranking pins on pinterest. He uses 3 of them in every pin

I dont know it has never happened to me. that would be a question for the support but to be honest if you ask them that they may monitor your account to make sure you are not abusing their system. I pin 90 a day to be safe per account and have never had any problems. But who knows you could pin one and get banned, it all depends on what you are pinning, where from, any links in it etc. My opinions are just that...opinions.

No I have not tried any of those I'm afraid so I cant give an opinion on them.

Yes very much so, check out this thread https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/method-ranking-pins-on-pinterest.1011251/

Has Pinterest refined its algorithm to the point that irrelevant repins don't matter anymore? I ask because a lot of SMM panels offer Pinterest repins, but no ability to control the board niche they're repinned to.

I don't know. It's a good question though as I know what you mean by irrelevant places that people pin. To be honest I think it's fine because I cant see how it would recognize a pin about camping in a board about back gardens for example. I think if the pins that the SMM panels are offering dont get any traction its because of the fact that the account is probably blacklisted or its a bot with no reach. The location of a pin only matters in the sense that if you are pinning a pin in a relevant place it will get more relevant traffic and interactions.

can amazon affiliate direct links lead to an account ban? Is it necessary to add website to pinterest profile?

If you try and add a link in the description of the pin that will lead to a fast suspension. However if you have an affiliate website set up with the products for sale and you are pinning from that, the pin will lead back to it anyway. You dont need to include a URL with a pin. The pin will lead back to the place you made it from if you are using an app like the one I am using anyway. I never set the pins up on pinterest itself because I suspect they have more ability to track how you do things and then build a profile on your activity that may cause red flags. If you are referring to including the amazon URL in the pin when you are making it on Pinterest I have no idea because I have never done it that way with amazon links. Personally I would build a simple site and include the product URL on your site as the destination and not the direct amazon link.

Actually I am already farming instagram but now planning to farm pinterest accounts as well. I am not sure if this is going to work well, but i can't have 100's and 1000's of websites for each account. Just wondering if using own images and pinning amazon affiliate url's would work well for particular niches.

Thanks alot for your detailed response. I highly appreciate the time spent by you writing it and the knowledge I could gather with your experience.

You should give it a try both ways and report back :)

It's not a case of finding anything. It's a case of thinking of anything. What are you promoting? Just use relevant hashtags for the thing it is you are promoting. do a search for similar products and see what they are doing. Use whatever phrase or word you used to do that search. Think of what people will be entering in order to find the products or services you are promoting.

Hadn't really looked at it before you just mentioned it. They make a bold claim at the top of the site lol. The video is decent but it talks about facebook for a lot at the beginning just to make a point. If its a Pinterest bot I would have talked about Pinterest a little more at the beginning of the video. I have not tried it myself so I cant really comment on it but the video they have talks a big game.

My problem with things like this in general though is that it's easy to take things too far with bots like that. Most people know the story about the tortoise and the hare. I stay away from doing what some of the features of this bot purport to do because you're just asking to get flagged, not only could you lose accounts but worse the things you are promoting could be blacklisted too. I work with some pretty big clients some with multi million dollar businesses so I dont want to do anything that could harm their brand or reputation or mine for that matter.

One thing I personally feel from any bots like this is that there may be a security issue with regards to whoever runs the bot being able to see what I am pinning, where I'm pinning etc. I don't want that and call me paranoid but I would rather create some imacros to automate the things I need. I assume from the fact that the three reviews listed are BHW reviews that the creator of this bot is a member. I would love to speak to them to find out more about the bot but I dont know who they are and most of the Pinterest services I offer at the moment I have adequate solutions for.

If you try it let us know how it goes :)

I'm thinking of posting pics of motivational quotes and linking my marketing business below the images, do you think this would bring in traffic and clients?
