Hey, read through the whole thread (great, btw) and don't think I saw this one:

Let's say you have an account that's been active for quite some time (years) and gets sent group invites regularly. How would you evaluate them? I'm looking at posting frequency per day and how the board's followers are growing (to see that it's actually getting views etc). Assuming the board that sent the invite has good numbers there, and at least a few thousand followers, is there a problem with accepting invites from boards that have a lower number of followers (in some cases, much lower) than your own account?

Basically what I'm getting at is should I accept board invites from smaller boards because "hey, more views" or should I be proactive and do reachout to go after boards that are close in size or bigger? I'm guessing both would be the answer but figured I'd get your input.

    Thanks!

Many pins, how much is many pins to you? I dont recommend posting any large amount of pins in one go either way. Space them out and you should have better luck but dont for fuck sake think that you will get traffic within minutes because Pinterest does not work like that.

Great post dude! Thank you for your contribution.

If it has other members posting pins then go for it. no board is a bad board, some will give better results than others but all will give results. There is no problem in accepting ones with smaller numbers than your own account.

Currently, I have 5000 pages of product review site with small content.
If i create one backlink from pinterest into every page, then it will be give me to negative ranking or harm in future for my website?

I will try to create daily 10 to 15 post on each day or twice a day with manual pining.

It will harm in ranking or anything negative in seo?

I have no idea how it will effect your site. I dont know if one pin will do any good. you would have to try it to find out.

I don't understand one thing. If you said best ratio is 80:20 then if you have 90 pins daily that must be 18 your pins and 72 others? Maybe I missed something. Or it is only when setting up the account?
    Thank you.

That's more for new accounts that I'm setting up, these accounts are well established and a few years old so I have no problems with them. I would not recommend doing these numbers with a brand new account. Also that is if you are promoting just one thing. I am promoting a few dozen doing this so I dont need to break them up, its already done for me.

Seriously dude! I cant answer such an expansive question and it's not like it hasn't been answered within this thread already.

I should look through this thread and take notes because I'm positive you answered this already but what's a good amount of pins to post everyday?

Are you using a bot to automate any of this? I was going to grab Pinbot AI but it looks like it's dead now - are you using anything you can recommend? I am looking to scale out to Pinterest and maybe Tumblr, currently strictly Instagram.

So do you schedule only your pins? Every product to 100 group boards, 27 products, thats 2700 monthly. Right?

It really depends on the account and what you are pinning. There are countless posts of people saying they made 1 post and got banned and then there are people like me who make hundreds of thousands of pins and never have a problem.

I am and I mentioned it in this thread several times. Then I got accused of being the owner of it and trying to promote it by some silly ass tards. So feel free to read over it and get that info but also feel free to use any bot or scheduling tool at your disposal, I just use the one I mentioned as it works for me.

EDIT: sorry it was not this thread that i was accused in, it was this one where I talk about it more: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/method-ranking-pins-on-pinterest.1011251/#post-10838001

Not sure what you mean by "schedule only your own pins" if you mean am i only pinning items i am promoting then yes in this instance the only pins going out on those accounts are the product pins I am promoting. they all go out to the same boards yes. if i am promoting 27 products and pinning them to 100 boards then yes that's 2700

Got it thanks. How much is Tailwind actually automating though (or rather not automating). I know the less reputable bots automate inviting other users to group boards, etc. things like that. Is there anything Tailwind doesn't do or isn't good for that you still need to do manually? Thanks.

As far as I know, Pinterest is allowing paid ads only to people from selected countries. As I am not from those countries, is it possible to find some way around this? Like to put USA as my home country in Pinterest account so they let me run ads? Any idea on this?

Well when i say automate i mean pin for you without you actually having to be there. I set up a few thousand pins that will post over a month and I do that in minutes. so yeah saying automation is not really correct but you see what I mean.

All bots and apps are different. I am just using this to schedule pins so use whatever you can in order to do it.

    No worries :)

@William702 I want to join a group board and the owner said to mention him on the latest pin. I want to know if that still works on Pinterest, because i read that when mentioning somebody after you type the @ symbol a drop down list appears after you type the first alphabet of the persons name and then you pick the name from that list. But i don't see this drop down list. If i go ahead and type the complete name after the @ symbol does the person get notified? TIA
