    Friends,

    Happy new year everyone!

I need some suggestion before I go on selling this site:

I have a .NET domain with exact keyword match which has 169,000,000 search results and has 1,65,000 Global Searches (as per Google Keyword External Tool) with a $0.50 Avg. CPC

This domain is a blogger blog and has Page rank 0/10 with 200 backlinks. It ranks #1 (not just the page I mean #1 list in 1st page) on Google.com and #6 on google.co.in. This makes me about $30-50 every month through adsense. Got me 4 sales till date in Clickbank for a product. This blog has been live for about 6 months now.

How much can I sell this blog for?

I have never attempted to sell only a blog as I deal primarily with e-Commerce websites. But it sounds as if your blog is basically an e-Commerce site so I'll tell you what the normal rate is for those.

A couple of years ago, the asking price for a site would have been 2.5 - 3.0 times the annual net income. If the site earned $50 each month on Adsense ads, then your annual gross income would total $600. You would normally subtract from that any operating expenses (ie: hosting service, registrars, SSL's, etc) you may have that year. This should give you your net income for the site. To keep the math simple, let's say your expenses total $50 per year. This leaves you with a net income of $550.

Thus, a couple of years ago the site would be worth somewhere in the ball park of $1,375 - $1,650. Now since the economy is so poor, it is very difficult to sell an e-Commerce website that is making upwards of $20k a month, Google PR of 4, and a net income of 25% or better for much over a 2.0 margin.
