I wonder how can the newscaster not realize it =/
This is an extremely sad tragedy but got damn that is fucking hilarious. How stupid is the news station that fell for it. I honestly would not have believed it unless I saw with my own eyes. I think the employees at the news station look something like this:
I've been wanting to say this for a while.
What's this shit about NOT testing the pilots for drugs and alcohol? News said some stupid, made-up bullshit like "Since the pilots were Chinese, they were not under the US jurisdiction." or retarded words to that effect. Complete fucking lie.
If the Chinese pilots were staggering around drunk on the sidewalk, would the Police test them? Yes. If they drove a car? Yes. A bicycle? Yes. A boat? Yes.
But somehow, magically, a pilot can fly shit-faced or jacked-up on bath salts, crash the fucking plane and kill 3 passengers, and somehow the US doesn't have the authority to do drug testing on two pilots that were probably intoxicated when they crashed the plane. I say "probably" because how else is it that two pilots landing a plane with no mechanical defect somehow manage to fail to notice they are GOING TOO SLOW? Pilots aren't that stupid. Even new pilots, and new pilot trainers. However drunk pilots can manage to non-notice all sorts of things. Like how it's a really bad idea to get drunk and/or use drugs before flying a plane.
Anyways, that's my rant. Complete bullshit. The TSA wants to play pocket-pool with my genitals every time I fly on an airplane, but two pilots can get fucked-up, crash a plane and no one can test them to find out what kind of bath salts they were smoking. That is, if you really DO smoke bathsalts. I don't really know. I just made that up as a "literary flourish". TA-DA!!! Stupid, bathsalt smoking fucking pilots, and the perverted, groping TSA that won't test them for it.
Is what I'm saying.
Where did the drugs/alcohol thing come into play? The NTSB has said nothing yet regarding that.
I heard that the lead pilot was seriously lacking the proper training to be in charge of that plane. That was a very funny video but very sad situation at the same time.
Try a little harder with the bigotry next time halfwit. They were Korean FWIW, and coming in off a ten hour flight with no VASI which would have normally given them red over red. No doubt the pilot zoned on the AT and airspeed in a 90-second check, but that has nothing to do with their nationality or ethnicity.
Separate names with a comma.
