    Just got the strange idea.

If CB offers 50%-75% commission for every sales to affiliates, so is it possible for us, as affiliates, to offer the buyers special discounts at around 10% off for every product a buyer purchased though our hop links?

Just tell the buyers you will give them 10% of the purchase price after a successful sales (Of course, a successful sales implies the 60 days refund period passes) if they buy through you hop links.

This method provides enough incentive for buyers to purchase through your hop links and eventually you will be earning more money even though you give the special discount.

But my question is: Is this method allowed by CB?

Clickbank doesn't care if you do it this way ... not at all.

I doubt the vendor would, either, but I would ask them, just to be sure.

I would contact the vendor and ask them before you do anything. Vendors are normally pretty quick to answer questions like this. And if it means you are willing to go out and try and get more sales for the vendor, they should be more than happy to allow you to do whatever you want with your marketing techniques, as long as it's a profitable relationship for both of you guys its a win-win situation!

Read the Clickbank terms of service. It says that you can not offer discounts, coupons, etc. Offering a bonus if someone buys through your hoplink is ok as long as it is not redeemable for cash. Software product, Ebook, etc.

Sure, you may see several people offering discounts. But if Clickbank finds out, their Clickbank accounts and all earnings accumulated would be terminated.

I have seen Clickbank terminate Affiliate Accounts that were offering discounts.

"Officially", you aren't allowed to do it, since it gives you an unfair advantage over other affiliates who are selling it at the regular price.

"Unofficially", they don't give a hoot how you sell it as long as they get their money.
