I have taken in so much information since finding this forum. I see tons of veteran's that urge us newcomers to stick to one method and pursue it until success occurs. I completely understand this concept. The one response I have to that is there are many methods. I might only be dabbling my feet but I am completely overwhelmed with methods. It is near impossible to figure out which are frauds, which are potentially legit and which ones are top notch with hard work. I've read as many stickies and eBooks as humanly possible the past few days. All day and into the night. I wish I could outsource to speed the process up ;).

Obviously some methods are more limited than others as far as cash flow long term. The list goes on. If I had one question for people who have been around the block, it wouldn't be "What route can make me phat loot the easiest, starting tomorrow".. it would be more like "If you knew what you knew now, what method would you pursue and research the hardest that has the best potential if implemented properly". I'm not looking for a quick buck or something handed to me. I want to learn the ropes.. I just want to make sure I am headed down the best possible path. Thanks.

I will also state that I, just like others, found IM in bad times. Over the past few months I've pawned nearly everything I own to keep up with bills while trying to balance a normal life as best possible. I went from having a fresh ebay account to having one with over 300 feedback from selling ONLY my personal items. I have a bed, a nightstand, a cellphone, and a laptop. I refuse to work a 9-5 while accepting mediocrity. Everything in my life has been set up to dedicate myself to one thing and make it work by any means necessary. DO WORK

Well I would suggest starting with freelancing. The most successful people who earn massive amounts now started wth freelancing and made a trustworthy name. If you built trust then you can go on with blogging, affiliate marketing etc.

The main problem you experience is called information overload. You read and read and finally read again. That's why most tell to fix on ONE method. Study the method, try it and DO NOT expect direct results in 2 or 3 days.

Yup that's what I'm going to do. My only problem is I am thinking too many steps ahead. I'll be reading something and I'll be thinking that it has good potential, but what if something else a few posts down, or an eBook or two away will provide more sustainable profit once I get my knowledge down. Essentially the same thing as you're suggesting. I'm just wanting to start off down the right path.

Take it from me bro learn whitehat SEO first, then learn blackhat SEO techniques that will compliment the Whitehat SEO. Once you do that...the world is yours.

Like everyone is saying - pick something and go for it. Follow it through until success or failure then, depending on the outcome, rinse & repeat or start over again.

I know it's hard to pick one method when it means you may miss out on 'the next big thing'; but just do it.

Write down the top 10 most attractive ideas on little scraps of paper, toss 'em in a hat, pull one out and commit to it for a week or two.

I know how you feel. The term for it is "Paralysis by Analysis". You can't think your way into that pile of money. You've gotta act your way into it.

    Good luck.

    I totally agree.

Stop reading anything that doesn't teach you something specifically that you require in your current ACTIONS to make money.

Get a site, promote multiple clickbank product pages and get something moving. Do the standard stuff, get articles in relation to the products they are linked back to within your site. Learn all about the products that you can and promote them properly.

Use google checkout and paypal to start off. Get yourself a plan to promote 5-10 products and set your goal of your daily earning. Hit a 6-8 week stretch of actually getting little income streams, increasing every 2 weeks by $500 - $1k each time.

Build a client list by getting little sales results before moving into anything major. Work to make money before remotely even thinking about trying to show other's how as gurus do. If you aren't a thousandaire and can't write a 100% stable, bounce-proof check to prove it, then you don't need to step up to try and teach others something you haven't yet taught yourself.

    Best of luck with it.

You could write articles for associated content. They pay low but it's pretty easy. Just scrape articles from article directories and search engines and re write them in your own words. Be sure to only submit roughly 5 articles per day per account. They seem to like how to articles and product reviews.

You could also persue freelance work if you have any skills.

Getting those first few dollars is inspiring. That's why I say start with article writing, get paid, and keep moving.
