Articles submissions

Hi,

Some people say that sending post to articles submissions site is a good way to get a backlink. I agree, but is there a way to automate the whole process? I mean: there are hundreds of such site, so it would take forever to send them. Moreover, some sites (like ezines) have rules that prevent putting any affiliate link outside of the root.

Any idea about all this?
