Articles in major publications with PA 1, worth the price?

Looking at some samples from providers of mentions and links in top magazines like Huff etc. I se that even if DA is high, PA is mostly 1. While I see natural links to some of mye old domains, have articles with PA 50 and above.

Are these links worth the price?

PA takes a while to update, look at the link value and compare with your budget.

not for short term affiliate sites.

For proper businesses they pass traffic and should still be keeping your keywords up in 10+ years

To be frank, you need all sorts of high quality tier 1 links so these should be good enough in addition to other link types.
