Wanted to know if there is anyone can provide a list of High Authority sites of articles submission & directories submission like "Ezine Articles" and "Dmoz"? Other than this 2 sites, what other sites is reliable for white hat seo? I need to do it for company website. So can't take too much risk.

Careful of who you post these to. Some are spammy, most aren't worth your time.

Is this even worth the effort any more?

Try to reach out to real blogs, not article directories, for guest posts. Just my 2 cents.

Yep, I think you're damn right here. Your time and effort are better used elsewhere OP.

In terms of increasing your readership with targeted visitors - probably not. However, in terms of adding variety to your link profile, then why not?

Link variety is good to have for sure but check the directory and make sure Google does not see it as a spam site before posting on it and linking back to your site.

You'll find some that Google says are bad. Same with Web 2.0s... there are some out there that Google classifies as a bad place from which to have a link.

Hi, how do i identify if the directory site is bad? I heard using MOZ spam score as indication but apparently MOZ takes a long time to update its metrics. Is there any other way?

Don't waste your time. By the time you write up a crappy article and build tier 2 links (because alone they don't do shit), you could have written a decent article and submitted it to a fairly good website. Ezine articles is so 2011 haha.
