Article Submission - totally lost

Guys I just need some advice on articles. I've no problem cranking articles...but Im totally lost as to what to do with them!

My site is a month old, and I've been writing a 600 word article every day. I have a blog on my site, and include a link and snippet of my articles on my homepage.....so my homepage is changing every day, and my site is getting a new 600 word page every day. My articles have a keyword density of 2%

Problem is that it doesnt seem to be getting me anywhere. Im not even in the top 1000 results compared to some totally rubbish sites whch look like they have been knocked together in Word 98!

Ca you guys tell me if I should be doing something else with my articles....as I feel like Im wasting my time writing them.

Please guys...help.

Are you posting articles on sites with a backlink to your site anywhere?
 
I have done a few yes, like ezine and article directory.
 
That might be the problem... a few. Of course I do not know your competition level etc., I do know that you need to build some backlinks to your site as much as you need to have fresh content on your site.

I personally write 10 - 15 articles a day and only put one or two on my sites and the balance go to article directories and Web 2.0 sites.
 
Maybe I should change my tack and submit my articles to article directories. Which sites do you suggest I submit to?
 
ezine is good but can take time to get published, goarticles will publish your site real fast, sooperarticles ranks well for some reason, hub pages rocks if you get some traffic to it...

You can also use Wordpress, blogger and the myriad of Web 2.0 properties that are out there to lay a base for your articles... I put my stuff on a lot of different sites so the links are coming in from a lot of directions.

On page SEO factor, make sure your title, h1 tags, use the right plugins to rank, competition for your keywords, and tonnes of other factors, backlinks, inlinks, just to name a few

Work smart and drop me a msg if you want me to look into your problem further.
