a stupid thng i did, i thought if i write longer articles then ill target more kws and ill rank higher.
LESS IS MORE
that was so stupid of me. i remade the article and indeed its very good but it seems google prefers less detailed articles. last article was much more lame but it was on page one between #3 and #8 but i edited it, added images, links, 1-2k words and now its at #70 jfl and didnt go back for months
(in other words, better less images, links, and words: e.g. better 1k words just about your kw than 3k words about your kw but also explaining other details related to that kw - probably because google doesnt pick up well what these small details are and it thinks these are different subjects)
MORE KWS == BAD
also, i have a feeling that if you mix two huge kws that are related but google thinks they mean different thing, and you put them in most important places on your site (e.g title, kw, slug), then google will rank you far away for both kws because it thinks they are not close enough.
for example, if your title is: (BAD)
"is honda better than porshee: comparison of best cars"
then it will rank for kws "honda" "porshee" and "best cars" much worse than if you made 3 posts instead that are: (GOOD)
"Everything about Honda - is Honda good choice?"
"Your center of knowledge about porshee car. Is porshe worth it?"
"List of best cars: 2019 ranking of best cars available"
(if you didnt realize, the first title covers 3 huge kws that may be counted as different topics by google, while latter 3 titles cover just one kw each and surround it with stop-words)
What are your experiences? I did read so much bs about making huge thourugh articles that cover every detail but after my recent experiences i think thats BS. maybe it was indeed the aim of Google but seems their text processing doesnt understand that things we write about in our long azz articles are indeed very closely related to the phrase - google either thinks related kws are not related, or it intentionally was made to not pay huge attention to LSI and related kws
