article directories backlinks.. 400 vs 800+ words?

Hey fellas it makes me wonder If you submit two articles to the same directory one 400 words the other 800 will backlinks from those articles pass the same link juice power?

In most search engines eyes,

The more words per article the better.

I would recommend 800+ words per article rather than two 400 word articles.

Yes, but, less is better. 400 words should just peak their interest to click on your author box link for more info. 800 words may tell them too much.
