Article Checker - Free Tool

I chanced upon this, thought shld share it.

Apparently checks your articles/content for plagiarism. Free to use, but web based.

I have not used it yet, so I can't vouch for its standard though, so use with caution.

I'm pretty sure it is bogus. I ran some content that I created, by hand, from scratch, and it told me it was a copy of content that was in its DB, and gave me some email addresses to contact about "fixing" the problem, but which were obviously just there to sell me writing services. The check itself was intolerably slow, and it drops you through an ad (not too surprising).

All in all, I'm not terribly impressed. It could be that my article really did look a lot like another one, but the other aspects of it are unimpressive enough that I doubt I will try with any more content.
