Article backlinks

So I've been wondering about how important it is to get backlinks from different sites and my question is this: Would it be better to submit 10 articles to ezine with your backlink, or 10 articles to 10 different article directories?

Ezine has the best alexa rank and a pr6 and im sure links from their site hold a lot of weight, so just how important is it to get backlinks from different domains, has anyone ever experimented with this?

Traffic = ezine
ranking = ten different directories.

Hmm fair point! So ezine AND different directories = $$$?

I think the google does not count it as a duplicated content so go for it. Personally I do only ezine, but need to expand horizons... should have done more of it - around 5 articles i've done exactly 3 months ago got straight away pr2 with last google pr update. So now i'm hitting for 180 articles until next month pass.

i'll just add that it is 360 back links to my posts so multiplying it by 3 websites it gives nice number...

If you only have 10 backlinks, it think it wont effect the ranking. What you need is a few hundred of backlinks, and you can also add unique article to ezine to get traffic
This way you get the best of both worlds

Depends if you want to write 10 different articles. If yes then go for the directories.

Use Ezinearticles then spin the articles and submit them to the other directories
