I've submitted a large number of articles for backlinks, not for article marketing and it seems the lazy article directory owner never get around to approving them. Some do, but most not.

I've also done a fair amount of social bookmarking.

I still need more links, any ideas for WH money sites?

I'd concentrate on just GoArticles and EZA personally.

They seem to be the 2 main ones.

    Yes, I agree.....

This is what I normally do, in this case, I am looking for a large qty of backlinks. I know they don't count the same, just looking to increase the number of overall backlinks.

another good thing to do is do blog comments that have links to your articles. when EZA or goarticles sees that theres some pr juice coming to that page they redo the interlinking of the site and push more juice your way.

or atleast that's been whats happening for me i have a lot of articles on EZA that are pr2-3

I think you need to have Full wheel Article submissions.

This could solve your problem. As you done with Article submissions and Social book marketings.

With Link wheel you will get web 2.0 links.

    Thanks

A long time ago I used to mass submit to article directories but found it to be a waste of time. I didn't really get any benefit. Here are the only places I now submit to that I actually get traffic and good results from:

    1) ezinearticles.com
    2) ehow.com
    3) ArticlesBase.com
    4) buzzle.com
    5) goarticles.com
    6) helium.com
    7) articlesnatch.com
    8) articlealley.com
    9) articledashboard.com
    10) searchwarp.com
    11) amazines.com
    12) ideamarketers.com
    13) isnare.com
    14) work.com

My 2 favorite on this list are ezine and work.com . If you write a solid article on work.com, business.com will pick it up for the keyword your targeting and place you on the top right of the front page for that keyword. I'm getting really good results doing that and more importantly real converting traffic. I would just stick to this list and not waste you time with the article farms. [IMG] Good Luck!

Writing an entire article is too much work for one measly backlink that Google knows anyone can get. Seriously, it's a total waste of time.

You should write articles to piggyback on the authority of, say, ezine articles, build links to the article, and use it as a landing page redirecting people to your money site when it ranks high in the serps.

I just stick articles onto GoArticles (Auto Approve) and eZine, so I get a backlink instantly then I've just got to wait for the second one, sometimes it can take a while, but I generally forgot about the articles I've submitted to ezine.

Thanks everyone, some good ideas here!

By bookmarking or posting on forums the link to Ezine article, will this in turn boost by PR? If so, is Ezine still passing this along as they are no follow now?
