Aaanyways I am writing comments for scrapebox in notepad in a VM on my laptop. (I have wordwrap on). Now here is the annoying part. Say I have text that I copied, a long line like this one. When I paste it into notepad, it wordwraps into like 3 lines. I then save the notepad file. Then I open it. Now I want to add a word in the first line, and instead of pushing all the lines down, notepad is automatically adding "newline" characters and messing everything up... Anyone know how to deal with that?? Here are some visual examples of my problem..

    I write the file:
THIS IS A NOTEPAD FILE. I HAVE SOME TEXT
HERE, AS YOU CAN SEE WORDWRAP HAS
MOVED IT TO NEW LINES. NOW I SAVE THE
    FILE.

    I open the file:
THIS IS A NOTEPAD FILE. I HAVE SOME TEXT
HERE, AS YOU CAN SEE WORDWRAP HAS
MOVED IT TO NEW LINES. NOW I SAVE THE
    FILE.

    I add the red text:
THIS IS A GREAT NOTEPAD FILE. I HAVE SOME
    TEXT <--(this is the problem...)
HERE, AS YOU CAN SEE WORDWRAP HAS
MOVED IT TO NEW LINES. NOW I SAVE THE
    FILE.

See the problem? And then I have to go and delete all the newline characters otherwise scrapebox thinks each line is a seperate comment, where I want it to just stay as just one line....

I know this is a silly problem but it is soooooo annoying. Anyone know how to deal with it? I'm not really used to notepad (I use mac mostly), but scrapebox runs in windows so its in a VM...

I posted this in the lounge because this is what is on my mind, and really annoying it now. plz help!:banghead:

Do you mean that your comment is so long that notepad automatically puts some of the thext on next line ? IF thats you problem don't worry, It just shows it like that. In reality its on same line. Dowload notepad ++ for example and see yourself.

I'm downloading notepad++ now, thanks for all your ideas guys.

EDIT: ok I installed it and it is working great!

To answer your question though, no, my comment is only like 3x the width of notepad. I have 'wordwrap' checked, so it shows on 3 lines. BUT when I save it and open it, and add a word in the first visible 'row', just the last word is bumped to the next line on its own. Like in my example.
When I 'backspace' the now 3rd row, it goes back to normal. Anyways, I hope notepad++ will get me working properly!

I agree with those who suggest Notepad++ in general. It's a solid replacement for Notepad.

But for ScrapeBox comment creation (and several other uses), Power Article Rewriter is awesome. It has a dictionary of its own so when you're feeling ultra-lazy you can just click on a word in a list of suggestions and it inserts the spun syntax for you.
