After Google's image search update, visitors see and download the images without visiting our website. There are many fixes for that, like showing "click here for full resolution" watermark if visitors see it on google images,

but however, many people are complaining that this fix hurts your image serps. I just want to know if some people here have experiences on that.

Yes, I'm sure big G will penalize these sites in near future. Better stick without watermarking them...

So they use our images and bandwidth and won't send the surfers to our sites now ? Plus, they will surely penalize us for watermarking our stuff and the best part, they fucked us with Panda/Penguin etc..

    Neat huh !

    I miss hotbot/alta vista/infoseek/lycos etc...

How about fansshare . com, they have been using them since the update released, but their traffic is always increasing.

I used to bank with infoseek. Didn't have to do shit to get #3-#1 ranks.

And yes, I saw a fix for this, which wasn't watermark based that would redirect to the site when clicking, but the site that implemented this quickly removed the script in fear that they'd be penalized.
