this is absolutely true, inconsistent or "dirty" citations (business name, address,
phone number - NAP) confuse search engines like Google, damaging trust,
hurting local rankings (Google Maps, Local Pack), and causing you to lose
potential customers to competitors with cleaner data

Yup, totally agree! Local citations are super important for SEO, especially when it comes to relevance and accuracy. Niche directories can actually give a nice boost if used right.
