Just wanted to open this up to fellow SEOs here with all the noise around AI-generated content, Google's algorithm shifts, and platforms like Reddit and Quora stealing top positions, are you still betting on traditional SEO?

Personally, I still believe in long-form content and solid on-page practices, but I've had to adjust adding more topical authority, answering intent better, and mixing in Reddit for early traction.

Curious to know if anyone's completely changed their strategy or still holding the SEO line with a long-term mindset.
Let's talk whether you're a beginner or veteran, I think we all have something to share on this one.

I also stick with traditional SEO but make changes. I think long-form content important and should focus on on-page practices. I also add more topical authority and answer intent better now. I use Reddit for early traction, change with the time. I not change completely, but adjust strategy. SEO is long-term mindset, we all learn something new, beginner or veteran.

same here. I still believe traditional SEO works if you stay patient. It's slower now, but I'd rather build something solid for the long term than keep chasing every new update.

Absolutely, still paying the long game. SEO's evolving, but not dead. I have learned more into topical authority, E-E-A-T signals, and blending content with community platforms like Reddit and Quora for faster visibility. Google's updates just mean we need to be more intentional - not give up. Quality content, smart internal linking and real user value still win in the long run.

Hi , i wonder about these backlink packages, I see that a lot of companies are still selling packages of 100-300-1000 backlinks, and web 2.0, because it is completely pointless, linking a domain from such a thing is only damage, am I wrong? It seems to me that a good description, and a few good strong links to the product from time to time does work. Do you have any suggestions for linking ? what to choose guest posts on domains with high DA and traffic ? or something else ? sorry for the slight oftopic

Go for quality over quantity. Guest posts on real sites with traffic and good DA work best. Niche edits and HARO links are also solid.

Holding the SEO line with a long-term mindset :)
ALso start using AI for some tasks. Today AI is not so perfect as many of us thought at the beginning.

SEO isn't dead, lazy SEO is. Now it's more about topical depth, trust signals, and understanding what real people search for. I'm using AI too, but always with a human touch.

All true, and you certainly cannot be as lazy as you could in the past. The one hour per day workload is over! It is a constant battle with google and competitors.

But I would not put all my chips in SEO, I wonder how page 1 will look in 5,10 years. As google constantly makes changes to how page 1 looks, trying to increase their profit, it could be 90% ads for commercial intent queries in 5 years.

Long term approach is always the best. Even if i am adapting i always keep long term strategy in the mind. e.g. I am making some changes to adapt to AI mode of google. But I haven't forgotten my long term goal in mind.

SEO is still very much in vogue, but it's important to adjust. Although long-form, intent-focused material is still effective, it's now important to combine traditional ideas with astute topical mapping and use Reddit and other sites for discovery. Staying power is the result of Google's erratic but sound foundations with astute turns.

You don't sell those 10 ******** links now ? Topic is closed but you still have this banner

I use lazy SEO all the time :)
It's ALIVE )))

I agree, SEO isn't as easy as it used to be. You can't just be lazy and hope to rank. Like some of you said, it's more work now, and Google keeps changing things. But I still believe in playing the long game, focusing on helpful content, strong on-page work, and adapting where needed.

I'm also trying things like building topical authority. No one knows what page 1 will look like in 5 years, so it's smart to build something solid now that can last.

at the end of 2024, we use AIGC content, get 800K impressions in 2 days in Christmas campaign. The whole campaign take 10 days from having an idea in mind to UI design, developing pages, generate content.
in May, I just helped on website get top 5 ranking for a popular seasonal search term (also a industry famous campaign, and the website has nothing related to it before), but this time, we released 5 posts use human+AIGC,

IMO, SEO is becoming to rapid+long term strategies alone with AI, more inspiring ideas are required, but the general concept, guideline and best practice have not been changed.

Yes, still playing the long game. SEO in 2025 is tougher, but not dead. I focus more on topical authority, intent-based content, and blending platforms like Reddit, Quora, and YouTube for traffic. Google shifts a lot, but quality + consistency still win long term.

I'm still playing the long game too- mixing solid on Page SEO with human-style content and keeping an eye on what users actually search for has worked best for me so far.

Totally agree, long-form content and strong on-page SEO are still the foundation, but you have to evolve with the times. I’ve started focusing more on topical authority and user intent, plus mixing in community sites like Reddit for quick visibility. AI content can help with research and drafts, but real value and depth still win in the long run. It’s about balancing traditional SEO with smart new tactics.

Yes, many are still betting on long-term SEO, but adapting is key now, topical authority, better intent matching, and early traction via platforms like Reddit are smart adjustments.
One underrated factor in 2025 is how your infrastructure affects crawling. If you're operating in sensitive niches or scaling content aggressively, mobile proxies can help simulate natural user behavior and ensure your pages get crawled and indexed properly, especially when using automation or managing large blog networks.
