well, i am not here to offer you guys a quick way to make $500 a day, but i will ask you to implement this thing right after reading this thread to double your profits.

Many of you would have heard the term "Money is in the List" , some people take the initiative and start building email list, but some newbies like me keep thinking that this is not gonna make any difference and let the system run as it is. This is by far the BIGGEST MISTAKE i made for quite a long time and you are making right now!

You should always be capturing emails from the traffic towards your niche site, start building a relationship with them and keep selling products whenever you want. Those who didn't buy at first, may buy the second time you contact them with a different product from same niche. When you a list from your targeted traffic, they are the audience that are interested in those kind of products.

Now the question arises how to build a list?

There are a couple of things you can do to build a good list. First, you can offer a free product to anyone who joins your list. Offering a free products is a very good way to grab someone's email. Just set up a website offering the free product and drive traffic to it. Offer something that is of a high value to the customer and it solves some of their problem. If the product is of an incredibly high value, people on your list will be impressed, and will be more likely to buy your paid products later on. This is how trust building starts. If you're giving away for free such a high value, then they will be curious about how great of value a paid product is.
Another good way to build a list is to create a product and upload it to an affiliate site. This doesn't have to be an expensive product, something cheap like $5-$7 for a 20-30 page report will suffice. Give your affiliates 100% commission for the product and capture the email addresses of anyone who buys. This will build your list slower than the free product method, but you will now have an email of proven buyers, and they will be more likely to buy future products from you.

Once you have people on your list, Don't sell something of $500 value in your first email, they are gonna put you in the SPAM list straightaway :D , you need to send them free tips, free guides or ebooks for the first week. After that try to sell them one product a week or however it suits you. This will build a strong relationship with them, and will also help when it comes time to sale them a product.

I have quite a lot of points in mind to share over here but i will post those aswell as i find some free time. Right now i missed my class so thought to share something that can benefit some of you.

These are some good methods to build a targeted email list. I had not even really thought about doing this - I know I have read about building email lists several times but I always end up forgetting about this when I work on a project.

My rule of thumb is to send them a relevant offer to buy something every 5th email, not more often.
