Would you be interested to conduct business through a similar service to Paypal?

Maybe some kind of a blackhat Paypal exclusive to BHers doing business online?

How would you like to receive payments? Paypal only allows direct bank withdrawal (at least in my country) but im a fan of the Payoneer way. Simple Mastercard, ATMs everywhere, deposit/withdraw instantly..

Problem is, paypal is accepted by everyone on the web. As a service provider i would lose a huge chunk in my daily income if i would not offer paypal to my clients.

If PP would provide a debitcard here in holland like in the US my worries of how the f*ck i get my online $ in my hands are over...

Paypal does debit cards in the US.
I'm not sure about other countries.

I wish there was an alternative to paypal :( but there isn't - or I would lose a good 90% of my sales.

Alertpay and Liberty Reserve are fairly well established online processors, with superior privacy still intact in some respects, just not nearly as universally known as PP. IMers will have to be market makers for an acceptable alternatives, or else we will by default continue to feed PP's monopoly market share.

Dude not accepting PayPal is like a restaurant that doesn't accept debit card. The debit fees for the restaurant suck , but hey it brings in more business. When you make a payment through paypal , your not worried. You know that their owned by eBay an that they have good support technician to assist you and you know all the info can be tracked. If you know your policies well as a seller you can prevent yourself from being scammed. I won't go into details about the policies for sellers. Their different if the item is purchased on eBay rather than a direct payment on PayPal.

Certainly Paypal is the market leader at this point and if you wish to cut your self off from them or would try to do business with their competitors you will be the one who will face consequences, ahh i wish............... we could.............

There is something on Paypal's level that fully competes with it---namely Visa/MC. It shouldn't be that difficult to devise scripts that can simply take payment by cc or debit card. A simple program should permit a person with a card to send money ACH such that it could be transmitted to PP. That way those people who need to pay people via PP could do so without having a PP account themselves.

As already pointed out the real problem is not an "alternative", but an alternative that's AS widespread and used AS gaypal... Maybe we should start thinking about creating a BLACKpal or something lol
