it's a habit of mine on clearing cache, everytime i close my browser or i reset my modem / wifi i always use CCleaner and CTRL + SHIFT +DELETE 2 times to delete everything. it's like im addicted to it. also when im leaving the computer (eating, sleeping) i always unplug the internet cable because im afraid that someone might be remote accessing my pc when i am away.

    how about you guys?

I think thats kind of a bit extreme, but hey to each their own. I use to have an extension that cleared my cache for me.

Try looking into 'private mode' for firefox or 'incognito' for chrome. These modes effectively clear the cache each time you close the window.

However please don't think that this all there is to computer security... this is only a very rudimentary first step if true privacy is what you want.

Yeah, I always clear everything just before turning my computer off. If I'm away from the computer and I leave it on, most of the time I just disable the WiFi.

As goblinsystems said, use incognito for chrome. It will automatically delete your data such as cookies, histories, downloads etc. Due to this you don't get panic on hackers or any anonymous persons that interrupt your system.

I use the Click and Clean (CC) extension for Chrome and use it whenever I feel like it.
