I think it's safe to say that most people here are focused on making money, and some will become millionaires against all odds and at all costs, but are you willing to sacrifice your health for it? Would you be satisfied with your life if you're a millionaire, but severely underweight/overweight?

The idea popped into my head since I'm basically a gym rat who's focused on obtaining financial freedom before the age of 30. I would love to work out until the day I die and nothing will change that. I haven't missed a day in more than a year, and when I do it's usually because of a fever. Because of my lifestyle, sometimes I go years without getting so much as a common cold. Maybe it's genetic, maybe it's due to my active lifestyle and understanding of nutrition.

Anyway, would you be willing to sacrifice your health for money or will you do your best to find a balance between material possessions and mental/physical health?

It's all about balance. If you can't balance your life out, you'll probably reach a plateau and your progress won't change much.

I'll get fat to be free of money worries, nothing a few gym sessions won't fix when I get there.

That's what I hear a lot, but you need to take into account that sometimes certain things cannot be reversed. A heart attack or stroke will almost always leave a permanent impact on your life. Why not focus on both and achieve both goals simultaneously? It'll take a bit longer, but it seems that you are somewhat concerned about your health, so it may be worth it in the end. Just my two cents.

While I work, I find time to take care of my health. I'm not going to sacrifice my health just for making money. I know my limits and I follow it, so I say I do my best to balance between money and health. Remember that health is wealth.

I don't need to sacrifice my health to become rich, of the 16-17 hours I'm up, spending 1 hour keeping fit isn't that much. Then I have 15-16 hours to work or do whatever else I want.

I'm 22, I'm not going to have a heart attack or stroke by gaining 20lbs...

That's like saying people who do drugs know that they can not do them and live a healthier life or do them and possibly die, yet there alot of drug users. Not that simple. We're all human and we have our vices.

The American Heart Association conducted a study of roughly 5,000 people and 90% of males and 86% of females had a poor diet. They also stated that children as young as 6 who have died from a non heart-related complication have been shown to have fatty streaks in major arteries. I'm sure there are people who are younger than you with better external health who have had complications. Weight isn't the only indicator of disease.

Are you aware that there are people in this world that have a severe medical condition which causes them to be that way? My mother for instance is one of those people. She is a truck driver that has bad knees and a bad back from driving the truck but you probably do not care about that case either. Oh well I am not one of those people I am 6'4" 245lbs and I exercise every day. I would love to see you say something like to my mother in front of me. Probably never happen though you are probably just an internet tough guy. I doubt very seriously you would say that to someones face. Just my thought. What do you think. Oh I am sorry you probably do not have a brain. I on the other hand will be happy to buy you a plane ticket to come here and see if you have the nerve to say that to someone I know.

The problem is your focusing on the things in life that don't really matter. When I was a kid I had hopes and dreams. We all did. But over time, the daily grind gets in the way and you miss the things that really matter, even though they are right in front of you, staring you in the face. I think the next time you should ask yourself "Am I on the right track here?". I don't mean to be rude but people like you I really pity. So maybe you could use the few brain cells you have and take advantage of the knowledge I have given you now. Good luck.

Honestly, that's what I call a cool story bro. Such a riveting tale, I honestly copy and pasted it to word, saved on my hard drive, backed it up on a jump drive, drove to the bank, put the jump drive in the safe deposit box, and will leave it there until my kids turn about 12 (when they can actually state their age, and ask what it is I'm showing them), when I will pick it up, put it in an old USB drive reader and relay this cool story to them and tell them, "kids, this is what a cool story should look and sound like...not like the stories your generation tells.

I have relatives from not so far back that were Nimibian tribesman. They happen to have fought lions just to become warriors. I don't know what you know about lions but they aren't like your average cat. I bet you would absolutely **** yourself if you ever saw a real life lion, especially if you were only holding a sharpened stick and you were naked. Come talk to me when some of your family members have gone on the Zambutu bibjano; A.K.A. the trial of life. Until you have done half the **** that they have maybe you shouldn't even talk to me like this. I know you think you're hard and **** but guess what pal, you aren't. Now go grow some Namibian genes and we'll talk about this **** for real.
